I don't know the equivalent setting in photo persona, but their must be one. If you don't use RAW format you would open in regular photo persona. Whatever automatic lens adjustments affinity wants to make to my image are more accurate than if I manually try to adjust them. Further strange because I never ever adjust anything in the "lens" tab. Box should be checked to remove the vignette at 100% intensity. I am going to assume this is not correct operation, and since no one has had this problem, it must be my computer. When I check it ON, asking for the vignette to be removed, I get the missing corners and the exact image I posted in my first post above. So with my PC, for some reason I need this box left empty, un-selected, OFF for "remove lens vignette" with intensity 100%. Well, if I un-check the box for " Remove Lens Vignette" the corners of my image appear perfectly. Well, this makes sense to me, yes, please remove 100% of the lens vignette. And the next option is related to my problem: "Remove Lens Vignette." The box was checked, so ON, and the "intensity" was 100%. Moving on down the "Lens" tab though is "Chromatic aberration reduction" and then "Defringe." Those check boxes are both de-selected, so OFF. I see a lower case "i" that when hovered over says "a lens profile for this image has been selected automatically." Again, no change to my image whether on or off. Also within that tab, under "lens profile" is my correctly identified lens but nothing changes in photo if its small check box is on or not. I will describe my settings: For "Lens Correction" that check box is checked ON (the box is colored blue with a white check mark through it), so that is ON (if its box is checked, I call that ON.) That tab handles distortion (horizontal, vertical, rotation, and scale). It has to do with the setting under the "lens" tab on RAW persona. The entire image also appears on the screen of the camera after taking the photo.

Then, I turn it on, take some pictures, transfer to my Windows PC, open the RAW file with affinity and this happens. Of those 10 times though, I took 1500 pictures once and no problem. I have used the camera for 2 years but have only used it with this lens 10 times. This doesn't always happen either and I cannot figure out what triggers this to happen. My Affinity version is the latest 1.8.3.641. Affinity does have the metadata correct for my camera and lens, so it recognized my camera and my lens correctly. Picture I included here is 4sec, f4.5, 100mm focal length. Their is nothing visibly wrong with the camera or lens. Their is NO filter or hood or anything at all on the end of the lens. The camera is set to RAW photo format only, and that is what Affinity is opening-the RAW file. I am using a Canon 6d II with a Canon 100-400 II. Like looking through binoculars but not putting the binoculars right up to your eyes-if you leave a gap between your eye and the binocular you see the image, but with black corners. Almost like their is a gap between camera and lens. The photo appears as if the lens is not properly attached to the camera, but it is. Some of my photos are completely missing the corners. Hello, I have never posted on these forums, so you won't know me, but I appreciate being able to ask a question.
